Cellular phones may be used discreetly for non-verbal communication. Cellular phones may be used in phone booths, located in the Locker Rooms and main hallway in the Clubhouse.

Arrival
Upon arrival, the member hosting you will register you in the Golf Shop. Once registered, day lockers are available in the Men’s and Ladies Locker Rooms. Please note that practice facilities of golf course are not available for use, until your host has registered you.

Dress Code

All members and guests are required to respect the Club’s dress code and maintain a level of dress appropriate for a private club. Members are responsible for their guests and are expected to advise them of Club rules and traditions before they arrive on Club property.

The Board of Directors has instructed the staff to bring any rules violations to the attention of the member immediately and in the case of a guest, will address the guest as well as the member. Anyone who does not take corrective action to address the violation in question will be denied services. All such violations will be reported to the General Manager.

Pace of Play

Shaughnessy’s standard is that all rounds must be played in 4 hours and 15 minutes or less. This policy is strictly enforced by the club. Below are some helpful hints:

  • Keep up with the group ahead, not ahead of the group behind.
  • Mark the scorecard on the next tee, not on the green.
  • Make a point of getting to your ball quickly so you have time to settle before your next stroke.
  • Play “Ready Golf”

Course Conditions

The Club takes pride in presenting a well-conditioned championship golf course on a day to day basis. Please assist us in maintaining the conditioning by following the few practices below:

Pull Carts: All pull cart traffic must go around the bunker, and are not permitted to be pulled in between the green and bunker

Carts: All electric carts must enter and exit the fairway through the green flags (roughly 30 yards in front of the green). Carts must stay on the cart paths on all par 3’s

Divots: Replace all divots

Sand & Seed: Mix of Sand & Seed (bottles) are available outside the Back Shop, and can be replaced for full bottles on holes 5, 10 and 14. Please fill all divots

Ball Marks: The Club provides complimentary divot tools; we appreciate you fixing all ball marks

Bunkers: Please fully rake and smooth bunker after use. Rakes are to be left outside the bunker
